Virtual Exhibit

The State of Children in South Africa

Over the past two years, the Cape Town Museum of Childhood has been collecting newspaper headline posters that relate to the state of children in Cape Town, and South Africa. Through creating this interactive exhibit, showcasing the collection of posters, along with the stories behind the headlines, the museum aims to provide a space for viewers to reflect on the reality of what children face everyday. We drive past these posters every day – sometimes we need to take a moment to really reflect on what they are saying, and what it means for our society as a whole.
